Sarah LeFevre
Violin

Sarah started playing the violin at three years old in the Suzuki program, and
at twelve began her traditional training under Olga Yanovich and Elisabeth
Adkins of the National Symphony Orchestra. Sarah attended Austin College in
Sherman, TX majoring in English literature and minored in art history and violin
performance. She has played in the White house, the Kennedy center, and the
Bosnian Embassy. She has been teaching six years and will teach violin
performance to all ages and levels, and can use the Suzuki or the traditional
methods.
Barbara Phelps-Greenlee
Viola & Violin

Barbara has a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, a Bachelor in Music History
and Literature, and a Master of Music in Music History and Literature. She has
been teaching private lessons on viola and violin since 1987, and has played the
viola and violin in numerous professional orchestras and ensembles. She is
currently the Orchestra teacher at Russell Middle School and has built a very
strong program. She is really fun and great with all ages and levels.
Azi Vieira

Azi has a Masters Degree in Music Performance; University of Colorado at
Boulder, a Bachelor is Music Performance from, Louisiana State University, Baton
Rouge, and Mannes Pre-College, New York. She is the concertmistress of the
Colorado Springs Chamber Orchestra, is in the Colorado Springs Philharmonic, and
has played in many other professional orchestras and ensembles. She is patient
and wonderful with all ages.
Jenny Cartwright
Violin

Jenny has played violin for the last twenty eight years, and learned through the
Suzuki method. She has been teaching violin on and off for the past seventeen
years, and has played in many different groups. She also plays piano and wants
her students to play to their best ability and feel good about themselves. She
is currently the violin teacher for High Country Home Educators at New Life
Church.
Vincent Lemoine
Violin

Vincent has over thirty five years of teaching experience. He learned violin in
France and attended the Conservatoire National de Caen in 1965. He also played
in the Internationale Sommerakademie in Salzbourg, Austria; Conservatiore
Regional of Versailles, France; Tour de France with the baroque music ensemble
in “Les Musiciens du Prince de Conti,” Paris, France; Orchestra de Chambre de
Caen, tours in England, Germany and France; Orquestra Sinfonica de Minas Gerais,
Belo Horizonto, Brazil; Breckenridge Music Institute, Chamber Orchestra, and was
the Concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, 1997-2006. He was in
the first violin section of the Colorado Springs Symphony from 1981-2003, and is
currently in the first violin section of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic. He
teaches a range of serious students and is very good.
Anne-Marie Dawson

Anne-Marie is an accomplished performer of standard cello repertoire and is an
experienced classical and jazz ensemble member. She has a Bachelor of Music in
Cello Performance from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. She has a lot
of playing and teaching experience and is great with kids.
Tony Ludiker
Fiddle & Violin
Tony Ludiker teaches the fiddle. He has been fiddling and playing classically
since the age of ten, and has won many awards for fiddling. He has been a
private violin and fiddle instructor for over twenty five years. He is currently
playing fiddle, guitar and mandolin with the Wranglers of the Flying W Ranch. He
has also served as Concertmaster for the Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra and
has played in many other ensembles.
John Michael
Bass & Cello

He has a Bachelor of Instrumental Music majoring in string bass and minoring in
cello from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater Oklahoma. He has been
teaching in elementary and middle schools since 1983 and is currently teaching
at several District 11 schools. He also has experience teaching the Suzuki and
Traditional methods in private lessons.
